It’s been some time since I’ve made an update on the website but I thought I’d take some time out to let everyone know what I’ve been up to.

I’ve moved the workshop and am still trying to get that in order but at least it’s currently usable.

I’ve been comissioned by the manager of a music store to design and build a compact multi-clarinet stand. I wanted the stand to be able to fold up into a small package for transportation but sturdy enough to hold 5-8 clarinets. A triangular shape seemed to be the best apporach for stability and after quite a few iterations of the design using google sketchup I came up with the following. Pictures are just the prototype made from scrape aspen and MDF that I had around.
