Tack Trunk Woodworking Plan
A very detailed plan for building the tack trunk that I have documented on this web site. Includes step by step instructions, a material list, some photos of the actual product being created and detailed diagrams of the construction.
The tack trunk includes a divider and a removable shelf to separate the trunk into three separate storage areas. There is a sliding tray that is also removable to gain access to the main storage areas. The trunk lid is deep to allow storage in the lid for such items as a bandage wrap holder. The trunk can be supported by stationary feet, or by casters to make it easier to move. The completed trunk measures 39" wide x 24" deep x 30" high without feet or casters added.
The plan is basic enough that anyone with moderate woodworking or carpentry skills can make a beautiful trunk. The design can also be adapted to add more sophisticated joinery for a more elaborate piece of work.
Make sure you check out the Complete Tack Trunk Woodworking Plan Set (WWPLAN_SET1) if you are also interested in building the grooming tote and the bandage wrap holder. I am offering special pricing if you download all three plans that are part of this set.
