The workshop has really changed since last year when I took over Nancy’s garage. We have added laminate flooring which really makes cleanup easy, new lighting, sheet rock on all the walls and the ceiling, more electrical outlets and a new 20 amp circuit. At some point I hope to add a web camera to this space so you can see what’s going on in the workshop real time. Stay tuned.

The workshop really is a workshop now! With some pushing from Nancy I framed, insulated and sheet rocked the front wall of the garage and the ceiling. I added a second 20 amp circuit and some new lighting. We laid DriCore subfloor and installed laminate flooring!!! I added wainscoting to protect the walls and a french cleat to hang some future cabinets. There’s also a new lumber rack and I’ve added quite a few new tools too!

With a little help (well actually quite a lot) from Nancy we got some of the garage organized so that I’ll have a better working environment! I can actually move around now without tripping over things and I can find what I need more easily (most of the time).

The workshop really isn’t yet. I’m setup in my garage at the moment … planning how to layout the workshop in the available space.
